14 Oct Roma Arte in Nuvola 2026: Sixth Edition from 20 to 22 November
Around 140 Italian and international galleries, Germany as Guest Country, and a rich programme of exhibitions, installations, performances and talks: from 20 to 22 November 2026, the Nuvola in Rome’s EUR district will once again host Roma Arte in Nuvola, the capital’s international modern and contemporary art fair, conceived and directed by Alessandro Nicosia, promoted by EUR S.p.A., with Adriana Polveroni as Artistic Director.
At the heart of the event will be the participating galleries, showcasing works ranging from painting and sculpture to photography and various forms of contemporary artistic expression. Among the highlights of this edition is Approdo Roma, a new section curated by Pier Paolo Pancotto, which expands the exhibition programme and offers further opportunities for discovery and exploration.
Germany, this year’s Guest Country, will present the group exhibition Viaggio in Italia. Nostalgia dell’Italia (Journey to Italy. Longing for Italy), organised in collaboration with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Italy to mark the 75th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Through works by eight artists from different generations, the exhibition explores the mutual artistic and cultural influences between Italy and Germany. The Lombardy Region, featured in the area dedicated to promoting regional cultural heritage, will present a selection of Olympic and Paralympic posters created by artists under 40, as part of a project developed in collaboration with Triennale Milano and Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026.
A significant part of the programme will be devoted to exhibitions celebrating Corrado Cagli, on the 50th anniversary of his death, Giorgio de Chirico and Hidetoshi Nagasawa, alongside installations and special projects. The programme will also extend into the heart of Rome with Eco domestiche. Corrispondenze contemporanee nella casa dell’anima (Domestic Echoes: Contemporary Correspondences in the House of the Soul), an exhibition at the Mario Praz House Museum that brings contemporary artworks into dialogue with historic furnishings and literary memory.
The participation of the Italian Ministry of Culture, through various museums and cultural institutions, will be complemented by collaborations with the Lazio Region, Roma Capitale and the Rome Chamber of Commerce. The programme will also feature initiatives dedicated to cultural heritage, archives, contemporary creativity and the relationship between art and design. A series of talks and discussions addressing key themes and challenges within the art world, together with four awards dedicated to artists and galleries, will complete the calendar of events.
With its sixth edition, Roma Arte in Nuvola reaffirms its commitment to connecting galleries, artists, institutions, collectors and the public, establishing itself as a meeting point for the art market, artistic research and cultural promotion. Through its diverse programme, the fair continues to strengthen Rome’s position on the Italian and international art scene.
