Arte in Nuvola Prize 2025

An award presented to an artist who has distinguished themselves through the quality, originality, and coherence of their research.

The prize was awarded to the work of Julie Polidoro, which offers a “cloud-based” response to our increasingly filtered view of the world — seen from above through a technological, digital, satellite-driven, hyperconnected gaze. Her work opens up a space of freedom and mystery, like clouds crossing the horizon, inviting us to reconsider the cultural, social, political, and ethical implications of this perspective.

CANSON Prize 2025

An award dedicated to excellence in contemporary artistic research.

The prize was awarded to Sveva Angeletti, presented by La Nuova Pesa gallery in Rome, for her unexpected and transformative use of paper — a material that, in her hands, becomes a three-dimensional form and conveys the outcomes of her performances with tactile and sculptural strength.

Hilton Rome EUR La Lama Prize

Awarded to a contemporary gallery for creating the most original stand, the prize was won by A Pick Gallery of Turin for the freshness of its presentation and exhibition concept: three young and original artists — Jay Gard, Wolfgang Flad, and Marco Tagliafico — capable of sparking a dynamic dialogue between sculpture, form, and image. Their research ranges from form as an energetic field to the photographic transformation of landscape into almost lunar ecosystems.
