About

Roma Arte in Nuvola

Hosted in the prestigious venue of the Nuvola by Massimiliano Fuksas, Roma Arte in Nuvola has been the Capital’s modern and contemporary art fair since 2021.

Conceived and organized by Alessandro Nicosia — a professional with over thirty years of experience in cultural event organization and integrated communication — and with artistic direction by Adriana Polveroni, the fair aims to fill the significant gap in Rome’s cultural offering, establishing itself as a key reference point for collectors in Central and Southern Italy.

Roma Arte in Nuvola presents a high-profile artistic and cultural program encompassing all disciplines: from painting to installations, from sculpture to performance, from video art to digital art, and including street art. The fair brings together some of the most authoritative Italian and international galleries and features a rich calendar of special projects, exhibitions, installations, and performances.

The event is aimed not only at collectors and industry professionals, but also at a wider audience, in keeping with its inclusive and multidisciplinary vocation.

ROME BETWEEN MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART

It was essential for Rome to reassert itself on the international stage through a platform dedicated to dialogue between modern and contemporary art and to the promotion of new artistic proposals, with the objective of playing a driving role for Southern Italy and the entire Mediterranean area.

With a high-quality and wide-ranging curatorial vision, Roma Arte in Nuvola now stands as an event capable of interpreting and enhancing the artistic vocation of the Capital and of Central and Southern Italy, projecting its identity beyond national borders.

The Event Sections

Main Section

The fair’s main section ranges from modern to contemporary art, offering a broad overview of the artistic landscape — from the historical avant-gardes to the most recent artistic expressions — and featuring leading national and international galleries active in both sectors.

Solo Show

A section dedicated to monographic projects, designed to highlight a single artist — especially if young or emerging — offering the opportunity to present their research in an organic and coherent way.

New Entries

A section devoted to emerging and experimental realities which, alongside traditional means of expression, embrace the innovative languages of new media, outlining what the art of tomorrow will be.

Photography

A section exploring photography with an open perspective, giving space to both established masters and emerging voices, and fostering a dialogue between experimentation and conceptual reflection, where tradition meets innovation.
