Rome, October 16, 2025<\/strong> – One of the most eagerly awaited events on the Italian art scene is back: Roma Arte in Nuvola \u2013 International Fair of Modern and Contemporary Art<\/strong>, now in its fifth edition. From November 21 to 23, 2025<\/strong>, the spaces of La Nuvola<\/strong>, designed by Massimiliano Fuksas<\/strong>, will host a rich program of exhibitions, talks, events, and performances where artists, gallerists, curators, and art enthusiasts will come together in one of the major cultural events of the autumn season.<\/p>\n Conceived and organized by Alessandro Nicosia<\/strong>, under the artistic direction of Adriana Polveroni<\/strong> and promoted by EUR S.p.A.<\/strong>, Roma Arte in Nuvola benefits from the active participation of the Ministry of Culture<\/strong>, Roma Capitale<\/strong>, and the Lazio Region<\/strong>, as well as the Patronage of the Dicastery for Evangelization of the Vatican City<\/strong>. The fair is organized and produced by C.O.R. Creare Organizzare Realizzare<\/strong> in collaboration with Costruire Cultura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Following the success of the previous edition \u2014 which drew over 38,000 visitors<\/strong> \u2014 the 2025 edition<\/strong> promises to be even richer in content, with a cross-disciplinary cultural offering that continues to grow, aimed at an increasingly broad and diverse audience.<\/p>\n \u201cWe wanted Rome \u2014 a city that had long lacked an art fair \u2014 to fill that gap by offering a unique platform for dialogue between modern and contemporary art and new artistic expressions, with the goal of playing a driving role for Southern Italy and the entire Mediterranean area.\u201d<\/p>\n \u2014 Alessandro Nicosia<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Roma Arte in Nuvola seeks to distinguish itself from other Italian art fairs by positioning itself not merely as a marketplace, but as a true cultural event featuring a wide range of exhibitions and activities in which institutions are called to take an active role, helping to forge a new and original identity. It is precisely this dialogue between market, culture, and institutions<\/strong> that makes Roma Arte in Nuvola a unique event in the national landscape<\/strong>.<\/p>\n With over 140 exhibitors<\/strong>, the fair will showcase works ranging from modern to contemporary art, offering visitors a comprehensive overview of the artistic landscape \u2014 from the historical avant-gardes to the latest creative expressions \u2014 where long-established galleries stand alongside emerging ones presenting innovative artistic languages.<\/p>\n The Department of Culture of Roma Capitale<\/strong> and the Capitoline Superintendency of Cultural Heritage<\/strong> will take part with the exhibition The Acquisitions of the Gallery of Modern Art from 2012 to Today. Works from the Collections of the Capitoline Superintendency of Cultural Heritage<\/em>. Through a selection of works from the Gallery of Modern Art of Rome, the exhibition highlights the enrichment of the collection \u2014 thanks to recent acquisitions and donations \u2014 with pieces by Marcello Avenali, Rolando Monti, Lamberto Pignotti, Guido Strazza, Emma Quilici Buzzacchi, Giuliana Caporali, Elisabetta Pasqualin Miresi<\/strong>, and Elisa Montessori<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The collective exhibition Impossible Images<\/em>, curated by Arianna Catania<\/strong>, brings together over fifty works by thirty-three Italian and international photographers<\/strong> exploring a single theme: transcending the limits of the visible. The exhibition investigates the expressive potential of contemporary photography when it moves beyond documentation to become a space of experimentation, fiction, and wonder.<\/p>\n The Republic of Korea<\/strong> is the guest country of this edition with Fever State<\/em>, part of the Korea\u2013Italy Cultural Exchange Year 2024\u20132025<\/strong>, established to celebrate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations<\/strong> between the two nations. The exhibition showcases both renowned contemporary Korean artists and emerging talents, exploring intersections between tradition and modernity<\/strong>, material and digital<\/strong>, and personal memory and collective imagination<\/strong>. The six invited artists \u2014 Yun Choi, Jongwan Jang, Minhoon Kim, Yuja Kim, Yanghee Lee<\/strong>, and Kai Oh<\/strong> \u2014 represent the diverse expressive languages of Korea\u2019s contemporary art scene.<\/p>\n With the Royal Residences of the House of Savoy<\/strong> in Piedmont, visitors are offered a visual journey through evocative images of some of Italy\u2019s most important royal palaces, declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites<\/strong> \u2014 a unique cultural system promoted and preserved by the Consortium of the Royal Residences of Savoy<\/strong>, headquartered at the prestigious Reggia di Venaria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The DGCC \u2013 Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity<\/strong> of the Ministry of Culture<\/strong> renews its participation with an institutional space presenting initiatives that support the Italian contemporary art ecosystem and young artists, nationally and internationally. Visitors can explore DGCC platforms that document and map the many forms of contemporary art and architecture. Also present are the DGA \u2013 Directorate-General for Archives<\/strong> and the Central Institute for Graphics<\/strong>, with information areas and selected works on display.<\/p>\n The MUCIV \u2013 Museum of Civilizations<\/strong> in Rome will exhibit one of the historic wooden and glass showcases once belonging to the Geological Museum of Italy<\/strong>, now part of the Salone delle Scienze<\/em> installation dedicated to the paleontological and litho-mineral collections of ISPRA \u2013 the Institute for Environmental Research and Protection<\/strong>.
