The fourth edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola has just concluded.

The 4th Edition Concludes with Great Public Success and Over 38,000 Visitors.
Artists and events come together for a borderless art celebration, with a growing number of national and international collectors.

Rome, November 25, 2024 – The 4th edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola concluded yesterday with great public success, welcoming over 38,000 visitors. The international modern and contemporary art fair was conceived and directed by Alessandro Nicosia, produced by C.O.R. Creare Organizzare Realizzare, with Adriana Polveroni as artistic director and promoted in collaboration with Eur S.p.A.

This edition stood out for the quality of the proposals and curatorial research, showcasing how much the fair has grown and established itself as an unmissable event, not only for the Roman audience. Over three days, the corridors of La Nuvola transformed into a cultural crossroads, shining a spotlight on modern and contemporary creativity. Visitors, experts, and art enthusiasts gathered under an iconic architectural landmark to celebrate the many facets of art together.

During its opening days, Roma Arte in Nuvola offered a rich and diverse artistic experience, guiding visitors through a compelling exhibition featuring 140 national and international galleries. The fair also presented exhibitions dedicated to great masters such as Pietro Consagra and Piero Guccione, along with an installation of works by the duo Vedovamazzei, which captivated and inspired audiences. Thanks to Regione Puglia, special attention was given to the dialogue between Giuseppe De Nittis and Pino Pascali, while the display of Antonio Canova’s unpublished busts was made possible by Banca Ifis, the project’s main sponsor.

Among the highlights of the 2024 edition, which featured special thematic focuses on contemporary photography, Portugal was honored as the Guest Country, with the exhibition “Uma Volta ao Sol”.

The fair also reaffirmed its role as a platform for reflection and experimentation, hosting a program of talks and special events that engaged artists, critics, and curators in dynamic discussions on the most pressing themes in contemporary art and society.

The event received the support of Roma Capitale, which presented a tribute to Giulio Aristide Sartorio, and Regione Lazio, which featured exhibitions by galleries from the Lazio region. Significant institutional participation was also seen, including the Ministry of Culture, which involved some of its most representative museums and cultural institutions, such as the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity, the MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts, the Central Institute for Graphics, the General Directorate of Archives, the Museum of Civilizations, and the Hendrik Christian Andersen Museum.

Alessandro Nicosia, the fair’s creator and director, stated:
“We are very pleased with the results achieved in this edition. We have received great enthusiasm and appreciation from both the public and critics, engaging a diverse and composite audience, including many young visitors eager for knowledge and discovery. Rome continues to establish itself as an international hub for cultural dissemination and an attractive destination for art and culture, with a modern and immersive fair designed to be an essential step in the progressive journey of promotion and growth. My gratitude goes to the institutions, gallerists, and all the artists who contributed to shaping a truly outstanding cultural program.”

Roma Arte in Nuvola will return for its next edition from November 21 to 23, 2025, reaffirming its mission to be not just a fair but a grand celebration of art.
